Videoart for the performance stage play "malinches echo" by schall&kreck collective. As a historically relevant figure in the colonization of present-day Mexico, Malinche not only becomes a metaphorical projection surface in the play,

The stage design is characterized by three canvases, which are displayed with video art. The visual material ranges from colonial, indigenous, historical and modern to abstract representations of Malinche and the incomplete colonial narrative of her story. These images overlap with the performer's body and are repeatedly intersected by subjective reflections. Malinche interacts with the illustrations and influences the narrative of her own story over the course of the performance. Different media and discursive levels meet, enter into a dialog with each other and put each other up for discussion and disposition.
Parts of the piece consist of AI-generated content that has been carefully curated, extensively edited, modified, and refined by the video artist from a critical perspective on AI.
